This session will share examples around the world and provide participants with a road map to use in PK-12 classrooms to help students use tech and social media to solve real problems in local, global and digital communities. 
Using the DigCitKids book, stories and examples from Australia, India, Mexico, Nigeria, Scotland, Spain, and the United States will about the power of learning together, side-by-side as one classroom, one world, and one human race. The book reminds us that it doesn't matter where you live, what language you speak, there are more things that make us the same and the things that make us different are the best part of being human.
